Editing a Chapter
Open the Chapter Editor
Tap JOURNEY › Edit Chapter. If the journey has more than one chapter you first see Your Chapters, split into Current and Previous; tap the one you want. Below the chapter details is "Pebbls in this Chapter": tap any Pebbl to edit or delete it, which is also how you reach Pebbls from earlier chapters.
What You Can Change
- Title and description
- Start date, with a time-zone button under it. Pick the zone the chapter happened in so dates and times read correctly after you cross time zones
- Location mask for the start and end of the chapter
- Edit GPS Track: the track editor is being rebuilt, so for now this shows a page saying a new one is on its way
- Download GPX: save the chapter's track as a GPX file
- Delete Chapter (not while tracking)
Fixing a Route
The old track editor has been switched off while we build a new, improved one, which will be ready soon. Until then, if a route needs fixing (a jump, stray points or the wrong transport), email hello@pebbls.com with the journey and chapter and we'll take a look. Your routes are safe and the app keeps recording as normal. The Journey Dashboard on the website edits the other chapter details and offers larger masks (10 km and 20 km).
