Tools for your trips
Packing lists, a safety plan, sunrise times and places you'll need on the way, plus films and maps of the trip afterwards. All free, and most don’t need an account.
Films and maps
- Route to video: Upload a GPX or draw a route, add your photos along it and download a 3D flyby film.
- Animated travel map: Type in the places you went, or add a GPX, and get a video of the route drawing itself across a map.
- Countries visited map: Tap the countries you’ve been to, then save the map as a picture or share it as a link.
Route files
- GPX viewer: See a route file on a map with its distance, climb and height profile.
- GPX editor: Cut, join, bend and draw routes on the map.
- Merge GPX files: Join several files into one, in the order you choose.
- Change the file type: KML, KMZ and FIT to GPX, and GPX to KML.
Before you go
- Packing list: Make a list for your trip, tick it off, and weigh your kit if you like. Weighing your gear? Open the gear list
- Safety plan: Leave your route and the time you'll be back with someone who'll notice if you're late.
On the way
- Sunrise and sunset times: Sunrise, sunset and hours of daylight for any place and date. There's a day and night map of the world and a world clock too.
- World clock: The time in the places you choose, whether it's light or dark there, and when the sun next rises or sets. Kept in your browser, no account needed.
- Places you’ll need: Find the nearest tap, shop, campsite or bike shop from where you are, or every one along a route you load or draw. It shows opening hours when they’re on the map and picks out the long stretches without water.
The Pebbls app
We make Pebbls, an app that keeps a map and diary of a trip as it happens, with your photos on the route. The Pebbls app is free to download, and you don’t need it for any of these tools.
