The Pebbls platform has been built as a free application. This service is provided by Pebbls and is intended for use as is. We do offer a paid premium membership with a few additional features (such as password protected journeys).
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who decides to use our Service.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at Pebbls unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
To enhance your experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to name, email address. The information we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Location Data
The Pebbls mobile app collects and uses your precise location data to provide and enhance the functionality of our journey tracking features and to create personalized maps. This location data is linked to your user account and is collected in real-time when you have enabled journey tracking in the app. When you have journey tracking enabled your precise location is collected even when the app is in the background or closed. To enable this core functionality you must set the location permissions to “Always Allow” (iOS) or “Allow all the time” (Android).
By using the app, you agree to allow us to collect and use your location data as described above. If you do not want us to collect or use your location data, you can disable location services for the app in your device settings. However, please note that disabling location services will prevent the app from functioning as intended.
Log Data
Please be aware that when you use our Service, in case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.
Our Pebbls platform and website utilize cookies to enhance user interactions and gather insights that help us refine your experience. If you prefer not to utilize cookies, you are free to exit the Pebbls website.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

- To provide the Service on our behalf;
- To perform Service-related services; or
- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
Please be informed that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
Sharing Data with Strava
If you choose to upload your journey legs to your Strava account, we will share certain information with Strava to facilitate this upload. The information we share may include your location data, the duration and distance of your journey legs, and your leg title and description. Please note that when you add your leg to Strava your entire leg GPS track will be uploaded – any start and end location masking will be ignored.
Strava has its own privacy practices and you should review those in Strava’s Privacy Policy. We do not control what data Strava collects, how they use that data, or what they do with it.
Your data is only shared with Strava when you tap the “Add to Strava” button in the Pebbls tracking app. If you do not want us to share your data with Strava, do not link your Pebbls and Strava accounts. If you have already linked your accounts and want to stop sharing data, you can unlink your accounts in your Strava account settings.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take the necessary actions.
We recognize that our app can be a valuable educational tool for users of all ages. While our services are designed for adults, we understand that children may also find value in using our app. As such, we permit children under the age of 18 to use our app, but they must do so under the supervision and guidance of a responsible adult. This adult may be a parent, guardian, or other responsible party who has reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
