Turn your COROS workout into a 3D video

Make a 3D video of a run or a ride you recorded on your COROS watch, with your photos in it, then save it and share it. It’s free up to 200 km. The file comes out of the COROS app on your phone, and we’ll show you which option to pick.

Get your route file from the COROS app

It’s called a GPX file. You export it from the COROS app on your phone, one workout at a time.

COROS app › Your workout › Export Data › GPX

  1. Open the COROS app and find the workout you want.
  2. Tap the menu at the top right of the workout and choose Export Data.
  3. Pick GPX, then save the file to your phone or send it to yourself.

Why make a film of a run?

The COROS app is for training. It tells you how fast you went and how hard it was. A film is for the people who weren’t there. It follows your line over 3D terrain in about a minute, with your photos where you took them, and it plays in a group chat without anyone opening an app.

Tips for a better film from COROS

Race day

Add a moment at the start and another at the finish, with the photos from both.

Runs can look like rides

We guess from your speed, and a quick run can come up as cycling. Change it to Running before you make the film.

Races over 200 km

The free film stops at 200 km. Pick the stretch you most want to show, or make a Premium film of up to 2,000 km.

Making it on a computer

Email the GPX to yourself from the COROS app, then upload it on the computer.

Three steps, a few minutes

Add your route

Upload a GPX from your watch, bike computer or app, or trace it on the map. It follows roads and paths, or goes straight across water.

Add moments

A name, a line or two and up to three photos at each place that mattered. The film slows down and shows them.

Get your film

We make it and email you the link. Download it, post it, send it to everyone who came along.

Questions

How do I export a GPX file from COROS?

In the COROS app, open the workout, tap the menu at the top right, choose Export Data and pick GPX. Then save the file or send it to yourself.

GPX or FIT?

GPX. Route to video doesn’t read FIT. COROS says GPX is fine when you don’t need heart rate, and the film doesn’t use it.

Will an indoor workout work?

No. Without GPS there’s no route to fly along.

Can I make the film on my phone?

Yes. Export the GPX from the COROS app, then open Route to video in your phone’s browser and upload it.
