New Orleans

One night in New Orleans for some smooth, smoky jazz 🎷

New Orleans To Tupelo, Mississippi

Random overnight stop in Tupelo before heading to Nashville. The one thing to see in Tupelo? Elvis’ childhood home! Stay tuned.

Tupelo -> Lynchburg -> Nashville

Lynchburg for Jack Daniel’s distillery and overnight stay on a local farm. Nashville tomorrow. Stopping off at small town Columbia and ‘mini Nashville’ Franklin along the way.

Nashville -> Great Smoky Mountains

Leaving the pouring rain in Nashville to start a scenic drive through the mountains. First stop, a B&B somewhere near Pigeon Forge.

Blue Ridge Parkway

Scenic drive over the Great Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge Mountains, all the way to Washington D.C! First stop: a log cabin on the border of Virginia and North Carolina.

Skyline Drive To Washington D.C

Washington D.C To New York

Via an enormous crab feast in Annapolis, a rustic B&B, and dinner with a friend in Philadelphia.

New York To Salem

Whizzing to Providence this morning to see the USS Massachusetts, then around to Cape Cod for lunch, then back up to Boston for two nights. Ending in Salem on Sunday for a witch and ghost tour 👻

Maine

Driving up to Stephen King land (Bangor) for lunch, staying in a cabin in the woods near Portland tonight, then going lobstering in the morning 🦞

Westwards!

Driving to upstate NY today (Saratoga Springs), Niagara Falls tomorrow, then pushing on direct to Chicago in a big drive on Thursday.

Chicago To Yellowstone

LOVED CHICAGO! Now to a small town called Galena, Illinois, then on to Iowa for the night. Reaching the Badlands tomorrow, then on to Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone.

Grand Teton and Utah

Two nights in Jackon, Wyoming (a fancy ski town), before heading to Salt Lake City and down to Moab, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon.

Zion And Las Vegas

Heading from the Grand Canyon, Arizona through three time zones to Zion National Park. It’s Memorial Day Weekend so have a feeling it’s going to be crazy busy. Couple of nights there, then down to Las Vegas.

California, Here We Come

A few days chilling in Joshua Tree, then to San Diego, then up to LA to see brother Tim.

Joshua Tree To San Diego

After a very chilled few days in Joshua Tree, we’re headed down to San Diego for some zoo-ing, authentic Mexican food-ing, and probably a bit of chilling by the pool (it is our last few weeks of travelling, after all) ☀️

San Diego To LA And Beyond

Driving up the coast (as much as we can) to LA today, via a few beachy towns.

Sequoia And Yosemite

A three hour drive to Sequoia National Park to kickstart three days of tree and mountain appreciation.

Bay Area And Wine Country

Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Napa Valley and Somoma. Just a week left to go on this trip!

Oregon

A long drive up from the Redwoods in northernmost California to Portland, through a bunch of quaint logging towns and beautiful forests.

The Finish Line: Seattle

11,000 miles on the mileometer. Driving into Seattle today via a loop of Mount Rainier for our final couple of days of the trip, and the final days of our year of travel 🥺.
